Hello, those are two very different machines.

For the Di-5510, hold the utility key for several seconds until it asks for a code. enter 92729272 and press start. Alternatively, when you are powering the machine on, you can hold 2 and 5, 3 and 6, etc, to enter their respective modes.

For the Di-3510f, press utility, and click on the touch screen item that reads "Details" to get into the meter count. From this menu, press Stop + 0 + 0 + Stop + 0 + 1. You may need to enter a password here, which is typically 00000000 (8 zeroes.)

Hope that works out for you!

Additionally, I don't believe you can format the Di-5510's hard drive in this mode. The Di-5510 will only have a hard drive in most cases if you have a print controller (looks like a small back-pack type box on the right hand side of the back of the machine.) This contains the hard drive where all of your print jobs/etc will be saved that you would want to get rid of.

Thank you that did it. Do you know how to delete the address book from the Di3510?

            Thanks Again

Yes. Go to Utility -> User Management -> Fax Input. From there you can select and delete the entries. That's from memory so let me know if that doesn't get you what you want.

Thanks for all your help. That did not do it, what I am trying to do is clear all the names for scan destinations (address book). Figured it out in the Di5510 but this one is different...

                Thank you

Utility > User Setting > Here it should say "E-mail Input" or "Fax Input" > One-Touch > Select each input manually, and select delete when it is available.
