I volunteered to give a presentation at an upcoming U.S. Senate "Energy Fair" highlighting how much more energy efficient today's copiers are compared to the pre-energy star models.
I wisely saved some old fuser hot rollers (they weigh 14 times more than their current counterpart).
I would also like to have a video of a heat lamp cycling off and on a few times while in idle mode, but can't find any copiers that old. Can anyone help me? A minute of cell phone video of the copier would be great.
Thanks,
Rich Tharp

Don't all pressure heat fused machines have a heat rod that cycles at least until power save? Maybe you are looking for something more visible like the Xerox 9000 family. I have 2 Xerox model D processors for your classic copier collection --
