Just picked up this 7020 with 300,000 copy count. I was into printers, not copiers but have to keep this running - need help to find service manual or tell me what is F-28-3 error? Have just user manual... thanks, from Brisbane Australia.

I have the same CD's on sale for far less at Manuals 4 You - Copier-Printer-Fax Manuals etc (http://www.manuals4you.com)
but if you just need the 7020 manuals, its available for purchase for $10.79 and instant download at Just Manuals (http://www.justmanuals.com) this file is large at 208mb or so. Better have high-speed internet.

300K is still in diapers.

Anyway a 28-3 is a high voltage abnormality.

You need to:

Clean the seperation corona unit.

If that don't work replace it.

If that don't work replace the high voltage unit.

Ever work on a fully optioned Konica 1020??

Before you go to the HV unit take the conveyance unit out and check in the holes the transfer/separation corona springs go down to mate with the door, if there is even the slighest sign of tracking (sometimes you have to look under just the right light) replace it, you also get a complete corona unit with it.
