    [Misc] c452 konica minolta

Noise camming from fusing section. Changed fuser. Comes back after 1500 prints. Noise comes and goes. Any ideas.

There are quite a few different places the noise can be coming from, check the knowledgebase from KM, their are a bunch of solutions on there. My experience has been the rotation cam with the foam brake material on it, or the sensor itself. If it is more of a ticking noise I have had to put some nylon spacers behind the e clips on the fuser drive shaft.

      1. rotational sensor cam
      2. drive gears on fuser itself ( eliminated by swapping fuser)
3 fuser drive pack (especially if noise seems to occur mainly during idle process). Drive pack is difficult to pull, but seems to be the main culprit. KM is putting more high temp grease in this area and this type of call has gone down recently. Emujo
