I have a customer with B601 no HDD 1 gb of ram the m/c has been in for 6 months and cust is now getting memory full when scanning .
    Here is the customers query:

Currently, when scanning files first thing in the morning when no staff are in, and the files being scanned consist of about 4-5 pages (with just basic writing), the memory reduces to 60% for the first file and then the person scanning needs to wait a minute for it to return to 100%. Then they put through the 2nd file followed by the copier rejecting the third file as it states that there is insufficient memory

Do you think this maybe RAM related as i have checked at site and this is definately happening as the cust says

Just putting this out there for any comments

    Description:
Job deleted due insufficient memory when scanning to PC or E-mail.
    Solution:
    CAUSE: Corrupt CF card programming.

SOLUTION: To restore the CF card:
    1. The CF card should be backed up to a folder on your computer using copy and paste.
    2. Download the attached recovery firmware and extract it to a folder.
    3. Remove any files remaining on the CF cards using delete command.
    4. Copy the recovery firmware to the CF card.
    5. Check all programming like serial numbers and TCP/IP addresses.
    6. Update firmware as needed

Reflash your CF Cards to base level 10 then upgrade to version 30.
