We have not tested them, and it is highly unlikely we ever will. There is no guarantee the drum units will meet KM standards. You may end up spending more for these in the long run.

From personal experience with Katun in the past for C500 series drum units, you are better off to go with OEM from KM....A0400Y4

.....and Katun's handling of complaints about there products is very problematic and absolutely dissatisfying. At least here in Europe. "You are the first to have this problem", "None of the other customers complaint about it"

Cant say Ive tried with this particular drum, but I have used Katun drums with great success in older toshiba's that I can no longer get drums for.

IMHO katun parts are an opportunity in no quality based areas, but see... here we are talking about production printing mashines with high quality demands. I doubt that you will become glad with these parts, so better leave them alone and save you a lot of hassle.

Just my 2 cent ;)

I would say RUN! My company tried them and I would say that we had a 80%-85% failure rate. I was introduced to some weird print issues with them.

I agree with Herrman. We use katun drums in some older and/or lower cpm machines with success. But I wouldn't try it on high-speed quality-demanding environment (unless it was on some controlled environment - if you have a machine in your workshop, for instance).
