    [Error Code] Bizhub C250

    Someone not too long ago donated a Konica Molta Bizhub C250 to our little preschool. When we turn it on, we get an error message (of course) that says:

    "Malfunction Detected. Please Call Your Technical Representative. C-3851"

    I've searched and supposedly, the way to solve the C-3851 error code is to hold down the [utility/counter] button while turning the power on, and then pressing [reset] on the screen. I do so but never see a reset option on the screen. Am I doing something wrong?

    Can anyone offer a solution or do I have to search the yellow pages for a repair person? Thank you so much!

    You're almost there:

    - Turn off the machine on the main switch (the one inside the front door - leave the switch by the panel on);
    - Press and hold the Utility key
    - Turn on the main switch
    - Don't leave the Utility key until an out-of-the-ordinary menu comes up
    - You'll see several options - one of them will be "Trouble Reset"
    - Leave the utility key, press "Trouble Reset" then turn off the machine (on both switches).
    - Turn on the machine and check for operation.

    If the malfunction returns, you'll need to have your fusing unit checked.

      Thank you so much! It fixed the problem! (Hopefully, it will stay fixed.)

      Thank you so much for your clear directions and for letting me know where the main switch is. Really, thank you so much!
