Hello everyone.
I had oil lines fused into my prints from my docucolor 12. I changed the oil metering blade (squigie) because I saw it was leaving oil streaks on the pick up roller. Now it seems that the metering blade removes to much oil because the cleaning web is covered with toner and the prints don't have enough oil. Tried another pick up roller still the same problem. don't know if it would be the donner roller, top fuser roller or the metering blade is just removing to much oil. Don't think there is an adjustment for that blade. I have a manual. Need HELP this is making me go crazy.

Thank You
John

There are 2 different types of donor and metering rolls for the Doc12. The older ones are a soft red roll. The newer style has a metal metering roll and a brown looking donor roll. Make sure you have a matching set. I actually prefer the old red rolls but they are harder to get now. Cleaning out the oil reservoir and coating the wick may help you also.

If the oil pump is working correctly, you must change the Oil system enhancement kit (604K8100), the kit includes : the metering blade, pick up and donor rolls.

If the oil lines are not too bad they will disappear after a day or so.
Otherwise you will have to replace the oiler assembly and most likely the fuser roller as well - to achieve best results.
