KM Bishub C360. PC-101/PC-201 tray 3 inop, paper will not raised to the ready position. Performed I/O check in Tech Rep Mode, paper empty sensor (PC115-PF) is at state 1 (paper not present) when paper tray is full and the tray is pushed in. Verified connection of sensor and cleaned with canned air-no joy. Moved paper tray to the positions, it works fine. All other paper trays are good. Any assistance would be appreciated. For now, I'm ordering a replacement sensor.

Did you do a trouble reset? I think if it codes out then you have to "fix" the issue then run the trouble reset to allow the tray to work again.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right! -

Problem resolved. The post on the tray was too short to push the leaver that drops the pick-up and feed rollers assembly, thus activating the paper lift motor. I had to perform a field adjustment (tape a paper block to the lever).Comment
