Has anyone seen issues with the branch solenoid failing on the job seperators? We have had several in the past few months that have had the same problem. Machine starts jamming (j41) because the paper is not getting routed up to the job seperator correctly. The branch solenoid will not respond in maint mode either. Replaced and working, yet we had another fail on a machine we just replaced the same solenoid just a couple weeks ago.

If you mean a KM-C3225 or KM-C3225E, for me most of the J41 codes come from foam roller bearing failures in the fuser. I can imagine exactly what you mean though. I wonder if there is a thermal fuse in line with the solenoid that blows as a result of the fuser heat rising into the job separator. If yes, maybe it's time to check fans & filters. =^..^=
