Kyocera KM 4050i Error Code c3300 - No Scan Lamp

I am wondering if the SCANNER INVERTER or SCAN LAMP are a common problem with these.

I was thinking scanner lamp assy or inverter PCB, am wondering what others have run into

It's not impossible, but I've never seen a bad exposure lamp or inverter on the Falcon III series machine. I've got machines over 1.5M prints.

The things you can do for free include pinning out the ribbon cable, and re-loading the firmware. Cost-wise, I would start with the lamp & inverter. It could also be the ribbon cable to light source 1 or the engine PWB, but I'd save those for the next round of parts replacement.

It was the lamp inverter PCB. What a PITA to get to.

i have one time seen it be the lamp itself. sounds like a very uncommon problem though. luckily i had a parts machine to get it up and running the same day. customer called in with the code, sorry i dont remember what the code is now

Hi ! i run into this code [3300] today ,when i replaced lamp inverter no luck the code [3300] still appear so i replaced scanner board when i turn on the machine what i saw is exposure lamp light up a second and smoke coming the end point of exposure lamp .Of course the error code [3300] appear . Any idea to solve this faulty ! Tx:eek:
