Copy Quality on Canon IR 2200

Copy Quality on this machine is terrible.......it will print horizontal lines but not vertical lines even when I print out the history the box around everything the top and bottom lines show up but not the ones down the page......is this a laser problem or board....hopefully someone has seen his....Thanks Kurt

It was the laser.....all is good
