Bizhub Pro c500 Printing Photos like vector art

    Hi All,

My C500 is printing Darker than usual and photographs are printed with a vector art like effect (sharp lines dividing skin highlights) where images should be smooth.

    Overall color seems too dark

    Any help appreciated.

did you clean and calibrate machine?
What is the life on the drums, developer and charge coronas?
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Changed developers and cleaned charge coronas. Drums were inspected and determined to be OK with another 20000 before next PM.

It was also cleaned. We usually calibrate using Auto in CW5 and Measure from Glass.

That is calibrating the fiery. Try calibrating the machine first. With only 20k I would have put in drums to maximize the quality. Also I would recommend changing not cleaning the coronas.

Just Got vector issue resolved by making the following changes in Color Management area of Fiery. CYMK/Grayscale to Euroscale (EFI) and RGB Lab Source to EFIRGB and Photographic.

Thanks for your response Mr Spock. Would love to know how to calibrate Machine. If you could say. Will be doing PM shortly and will do DRUMS, At that Time.
