Any warning codes on control panel.Usually P-codes keep you from running stabilizer.

There could be two problem
1. The idc sensors are dirty located under the end of the belt when the plate that comes out needs cleaning.

2. The image transfer belt is cracked and need to be replace, take the bel out of the machine and look at the end where the cleaning pad is.

Yup.
R6 takes care of a good bit of 550's tendency to pop Prima dona codes.

Had the same problem once. Cleaned idc sensors no help, flashed to latest firmware no help. Had to end up rep ph unit which luckily on this model come as a set, and was able to warranty part through konica.

maybe you can try Skew adjustment reset, then do the Initialize + Image stabilization.

Could you maybe try running halftones to check if specific colors have issues?

We have this same issue on a C252 (fairly different machines, but some of the concepts can probably still be applied), used all new IU's, got Stabilizer NG in Gradiation Adj., did halftones, Cyan came out wildly messed up. Tried it with the old IU, same result.

So far the general direction we're going is most likely PH unit, but we'll bring out a transfer belt just in case. Good to know about the other suggestions as well though (idc sensors, firmware).
