Try MetroFuser. Metrofuser- Parts for laser printers- fusers, kits and more (http://www.metrofuser.com/) 1-888-FUSERS-1 or 1-888-387-3771. Had better luck with them. They use Anti-tear Films in their LJ 4200 Fusers, and it seems they also now use them in 1300/5500 series. Smaller company than Parts Now. You will still get a 'quick ripper' here and there, but that is expected with that series and they will go to bat for you since they are a smaller and customer focused company. Good luck.

We use LMI for HP supplies. Fusers are good, but color supplies seem to be lacking. Only good thing is that they guarantee their stuff for the expected life as set by the Mfgt. So if it only goes 3/4 life.....FREE replacement.

But I don't have any contact info....sorry.

There was found to be a bad angle on the bushings used to hold the film on one side a while back..the tearing issue was a result, you SHOULD be able to get reliable fusers just about anywhere now.
