Touch Panel Problem!!!

My touch panel stop working what can i do? A weeks a go the same thing occurs but past a few hours start working again till now!! any ideas? thanks

What model? I Know some of the color machines have touch panel issues.. erratic behavior and sometimes n/w at all like you described.

KMBS has had some bad panels; they offer a FOC to replace. There is a video on youtube that show you how to repair these using a lighter, the flame will allow the glue on the panel to become tacky again.

Sometimes the problem can be a small piece of grit or dirt getting caught under the edge of a panel, clean the edge with your fingernail...

You must take out the touch screen and do that think that are in the video

We have had a lot of touch screens going out on our Xerox models 7300. Still havent found a really good solution. Anyone have a source for the touch screens themselves?
