Konica C6500 weird black strip.

Hi

On both my Konica C6500's I am getting a weird stripe on the right side of the paper, shows up on the black only. Since its happening on both, I am thinking it is NOT a mechanical issue, and maybe a setting problem in service mode. Any ideas?

FYI, I changed the developer unit, coronas, did 200k PM kit... any help would be great, a very annoying problem.

Hi Condor99,

have you this problem with all kinds of paper?
In my mind, there was a setting for a black problem with thick paper. Think it was a DipSW.

I think on thinner stock it does not occur, but I already turned on the thick paper mode. I also put the 2nd transfer roller to low.

Looks like a shadow, does this happen with the doc feeder? or with 11X17" paper? Was this a copy or a print? Does this
happen with the machine generated test targets?
I would agree with pinoyprinter and eliminate the laser path. It is common to both modes.
Do you have all the pubs for this model?
