Man this has been the week of very weird issues.
Machine: C351
Symptoms: When printing, touch panel will flicker off and on and eventually go blank.
What’s been done:
I researched the firmware updates for this machine and found that the most current version addressed this issue perfectly:
Firmware Version: GW4-K1 “Correction of printing problem and Control Panel goes off when receiving the specific data from the network.”
We also swapped out RAM, tried a different electric plug and used a different print driver. None of the above made any difference.
Notes: We can reproduce the problem every time we send about 10 pages of a PDF; however, if we send the same document to a user box and then print it 10 times, it comes out fine. I sent 10 copies of just a basic word document and they came out fine. Once panel goes out, the job will continue to print.
