Hi,

Last week we installed this machine (3510f) in a customer's office and the issue I ran into is that there just aren't any PCL drivers for the 64 bit version of Windows XP.

Their Windows Vista and 7 computers already had drivers available just from looking through the list, but in XP I wasn't so lucky. I know that the little print board in the back of the machine can be in either PCL or PCL+PS options, but the one in the machine is only PCL.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any compatible drivers? Our support hotline was saying something from HP might work as long as it's 35 ppm and if finishing options aren't a priority, but they didn't specify which driver to try.

Thanks.

Use Konica Minolta's Universal Printer Driver, it's on konica's website under support.

Support & Drivers Search Results | Text Field Search: bit OR 64 / Product: Pi3502 (http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/SearchResults.aspx?productname=Pi3502%2064%20bit)

You can download it from here. It's a collection of drivers for 64 bit Systems, for non-bizhub Konica Minolta's

Hope it helps!

I appreciate the replies, but it turns out I was just misinformed by their IT staff. Note to self: don't automatically trust IT people about their computers. On a good note, at least if this comes up again (and it probably will), I have a few options available to look into.

Turns out the XP machines are actually x32, and unlike x64 it just gives out a generic error, rather than one saying "blah blah you need x32/64 drivers", so I didn't pick up on it until pretty much the end of the call (at which time it took 20 seconds per PC).
