I have an issue with another konica minolta c450 printing a double/ghost image.

9476

Should be printing just cyan but as you can see I get a magenta double/ghost. The unit has been cleaned and the magent IU changed.

Does it go away when you run a gradation? mostly looks like a registration issue with magenta. Maybe skew correction.

What does the test print look like? Have you given the print arrays a good clean?

test prints look good - only seems to happen after the first few prints have printed. You can print one at a time and they will all look good. But print like 10 or more and the first few will look good and then the rest will start to ghost/double print like the example above.

interesting side note - it doesnt appear to be doing it on 11 inch paper, only 17 inch.

Okay! We are tired of guessing. Give us the important info! How old are the Iu's, Transfer belt? Rechipped? Copy count? you know the stuff that we have to drag out of a lot of "techs" lately.

i did not see the date
i have been surfing for 4 hours in the site and the common things i realize that the thread starter never reply if any of the commenter had given the right solutions. i just read whatever i want and just reply if i know or i faced the same problem before.

why not the thread starter close the thread with the sign "problem solve"..
sorry, i am a newbie here. i just went from another thread to another just want to gain some info and share my little knowledge as an exchange.

Ive got the exact same prob - ghost imgage after a few pages have been printed - tried new IU's, Transfer belt and even swopped over a fuser. What do you reckon should be adjusted first.

I have seen this problem 5 times on c350's through c450's. was the fuser every time.

the fure cam out of a c350 - not reset. Worked a treat in that machine but once it went in 450 i had this prob - just turned down the fuser speed to 60 (lowest) - will let you know if thats the prob.

The machine also has a terrible skew - really noticeable on A3. Not seen a skew as bad on a digital colour machine. I cant seem to see anything that would make it skew so badly - Any ideas.

This came from a customer via ebay 500k on the meter so i have no history.
