KONICA MINOLTA C500 DOING SOME STRANGE THINGS. WHEN TRYING TO USE THE ADF IT WILL SCAN ALL BUT THE LAST COPY. IT WILL STOP ON THE LAST SHEET EVERY TIME AND TELL YOU TO REMOVE THE JAM. OK I DON'T NEED TO USE THE ADF YOU SAY............... LAY IT ON THE GLASS AND WHEN YOU OPEN THE ADF IT TELLS YOU TO CLOSE IT, YOU PUT YOUR ORG. ON THE GLASS SHUT THE TOP IT SAYS YOU HAVE LEFT YOUR ORG. ON THE GLASS!!!!! TAKE THE ORG. OFF THE GLASS AND SHUT THE TOP AND IT THEN TELLS YOU WHAT SIZE YOUR ORG. IS (WAS) AND THE GREEN PRINT BUTTON LIGHTS UP. WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT? !!! :confused: THANKS

You have a problem with the the original in sensor I think they refer to it as the DF empty sensor. It always thinks there is an original in the DF so when the last page feeds it tries to feed another which isn't there and indicates a Jam. When you play with original on the glass and remove them it reports the size that it thinks is loaded in the Df.
