Dell color laser 3115

I can't get the colors to come out right, but the black seems to work good but sometimes it leaves shadowing on the edges of the page. any thoughts send me a message.

What have you done or replaced so far?

Nothing yet, I don't want to crack it open until I had a better idea on which way I need to look at. The yellow comes out in slanted top-right to bottom-left, cyan is the same direction but not as even as the yellow, and the magenta is only on the left and right edges not as lines, but more of blotchy. black is working about 50/50, it will shadow the edges half the time with text in pictures in the right spot and the other half it prints perfectly. Also the is says to take out the colors and re-seat them, but it's weird it's starts with magenta (in spot 3rd from top), then the cyan ( 2nd spot from top) skips black and then yellow (bottom cartridge). I'm ready to treat it like Old Yeller.
