Couple questions

1. For the c250 can it reset the chip even after the unit has come to end of life or can it only reset the chip during the current life.

2. This can reset c252 chips or does this turn toner chips into reset color chips.

3. I see there is no human interface on this tool so one would assume that you need laptop with software to drive the tool.

The resetter can reset the chips during or at the end of life.

It can reset the C250 C252 C300 C352 Imaging Unit chips

Yes you would need a PC or Laptop for the resetter to work, all software is provided.

And it can turn toner chips into imaging unit chips, the software will also allow you to change a C250 IU chip to C352 IU or any other model that use the chips.

The chip pictured above is the type that can be programmed for any purpose for any of the machines that have been listed.
The Ds08 and DS2431 style of chips do have a secret encription that is been worked on at the moment, it is easy to tell the chips apart the DS08 and DS2431 have the gold connectors in the middle of the board not at the edges as shown above. But from a business point of view most dealers have already collected plenty of the chips.
Parsia's toner for these machines uses a generic chip so if you are needing more chips then use the toner and collect the chips when the toner is used.
If there is enough demand for generic chips I will place a bulk order with our suppliers and get the best price.
Remember the generic and DS2432 chips can be reset as many times as you like, there is no limit to how often they can be rest

Ds2431 <-> Ds2432

From what I understand the DS2431 DS2431 1024-Bit 1-Wire EEPROM is the rewrittable one and the DS2432 DS2432 1k-Bit Protected 1-Wire EEPROM with SHA-1 Engine is the one that is encrypted.

I don't want to be collecting the wrong type so if you could confirm

Both of the chips are encrypted.
The DS2432 coding has been cracked so that can be reset.
The DS08 and DS2431 coding is still unknown and until we crack the coding it cannot be reset.

DS2431 use new techonlogy to prevent address cheat like DS2432.
So you can't reset it by the same way like DS2432.
