View Full Version : Electrical C250 no light on display. But machine works fine

Ive tried the control panel and the wiring. Ive also checked all the connectors.

You can just make out the display, its as though the bulb has gone.

have you tried to replace the control panel? or tried to repair it ?....

Yes and the wiring, disconnected and reconnected all connectors on PWB's... Still no joy..

Either the display is gone (the backlight is fried) or the inverter board is at fault.

Ive tried another Control Panel from another machine that was working.. The Invertor board was on the control panel.

So it was a failed inverter board. Nice to know you solved it.

No its not fixed, just stating that the invertor was on the control panel that i swoppped.

So you tried another panel that you know it's working and the problem persists with the new panel, is that what you meant?

If that's the case, then it's an odd one for me.

i have two machines with the same problem...
back ligh not working but the machine is fine

PWB-M, try a new one, and dont forget to swap over the removable IC to the new one. (The right way around!)

Had one of these on a c352... blown icp on the scanner board if i recall right..

Not sure if same as a c250 tho.

integrated circuit.

i'm referring to the socketed 8 pin dip serial eeprom on the PWB-M board, it is to remain with its original machine.
