Fax forward on C252

Hi all,

Got fax forward enabled on C252. Which most of the time works fine however some faxes i am being told from certain numbers when the fax is forwarded come through as a .dat file and not a pdf like the others. I believe binary division is turned off although i am going this afternoon to confirm this, does anyone else have any other ideas what might be causing this.

from memory those old machines only forward in tiff format - if its coming as dat files for large faxes binary division most certainly is active and should be disabled - obviously its forwarding via email, you can always try forwarding to a shared folder which most businesses will have on their server.

Thanks for your reply, these machine do forward as pdf. I have spoke to the customer this morning and they did confirm is is supposed to be a large fax 75+ pages. I will go and check the binary division setting and take it from there. Unfortunately using a share folder in this case is not an option.
