1050 operation unit

I am working on a bizhub pro 1050. The machine turns on no problem but the touch screen is not operating. Go to utility on keypad hit 05 for touch screen adjustment and will not respond to any touch on the screen. Hard Keys on pad will function. Not sure if its the controller board or the touch panel. Need help please.

As far as I know, you can adjust the panel by entering the Utility menu and then press Stop-00-Stop--0x. I put x there, because I can't remember for sure, but you can try to put there every number between 2 and 9. I think it was 5 or 9, I can't remember exactly.

Well that didn't help at all. What I'm having here is total non response from the
touch panel. Resetting does not work and doing a calibration is not possible due
to the non response of the touch panel. The hard key panel below the screen
still responds. What I need to know is what part is the most likely one to have
failed. It's either the driver board for the touch panel or the panel itself and I'm
just not sure of which one it is. Any further help is of course appreciated.
