yep, we informed Konica and they said that they know about this issue. There is no solution at this moment. Just replace the belt.....

usually it cause from human error, be careful handle this machine, the second transfer belt is very sensitive, if you doing wrong procedure sometime you can damage the belt

How are you finding the C8000. I find quality is excellent but drums
And devs, charge coronas and fuser rollers are not doing their life.
Also have you had any 2 nd side registration issues.
Please let me know your experience

I recently changed 2nd. Transfer Belt (Maintenance Count 119,000). The belt appeared like the photo. I noticed that the rear side edge of the belt was frayed. Maybe this interfered with the auto centreing sensor.

Do you still have a problem with 2nd side centering Nor ?

No, not at present, but machine has only done 9000 prints since the change. This was new machine so still not reached first PM. I have changed coronas, and also gears in the toner waste system. Looks as though I must change intermediate transfer belt soon, as lines starting to appear.
Are you using the Creo server? Just to clarify, I was referrinmg to the 2nd. transfer belt centreing sensor. I have not had any problems yet on duplex.

Sounds like too many problems for such a new expensive machine. Suppose they'll have to release the C8001 version soon.

Too many things aren't tested enough in realistic settings before they're released. I'm not surprised, every time I ever see a "product demo" they never actually demo the machine, and that goes for all manufacturers.

It's not that hard to build a new machine and run a few million pages on it under stress tests and see what happens...

Yes we have the creo which seems to be very good, make sure you load the latest firmware or the life counters are only counting large sheets as 1 count

The reasom I ask about Creo, customer using IC-307, and if machine is on highest quality, time from sending print to time machine starts to print copy is over two minutes, regardless of file size. I know there is an update to Creo that came out about a month ago, but I understand that there is no difference in the time lag with new version. Do you have same problem?

There is a modified 2nd transfer unit now. Sorry I don't have the number in front of me. I think it ends in 522. Also, there is a bulletin about the mounting pin not fitting properly with the new unit. Not sure of that number either but 8102 comes to mind. I just installed one of the new units last week and 100k later all looks good.
