C351 1/2 inch black band top to bottom on lead edge, first copy/print out only

Hopefully some of you guys have seen this. I have a customer with a c351 that will put a half inch wide black band on the right side edge of the print out. It will only do it on the first page out and not every time. It runs from top of the page to the bottom, not solid black but what I would say was kind of a half tone. This also happens on the meter count print out so it is not coming from the PC. Sound familiar? Just wanted to get your input before I tried changing black I/U or any other parts. Since it is not every copy and only the first page out it is not the easiest thing to pin down.
    Thanks

Check your drum erase lamp connection. If possible, swap it with another color (I don't know if they're the same). Also check the PWB-MC ICP2 for continuity (and while you're at it, check the other ICPs, I could be wrong).
