On a BH 501, the #2 cass is showing A4 size instead of 8.5x11, it will read 8.5x11r but not in the portrait direction, swapped out that box with the fingers on it that the tray pushes into, and I guess its posible that it was bad as well.
BTW that is a pain to get it out of the unit back there, the harnes runs way up the main body of the machine, not a little connector on the back near it so i pulled both cass out and reached way inside there to do it, not easy wearing glasses, even worse with bi-focals.
