Lexmark C510 Service Error 990

:confused:Would anyone be able to shine a little light on the situation I have. I have a C510 Color printer with a service error 990. Suspect the Transfer Belt Assy. Could anyone confirm or redirect me. Any help would be appreciated.

This is straight out of the service manual. Asked my tech and he said that's more than likely the belt itself.

Transfer belt (transfer unit) error


Indicates unstable transfer belt rotation; color
matching cannot be secured

i didnt think it was worth creating a new thread, so i thought id hijack this one :p
Lexmark C510 which is reporting a engine error 994!!
is it worth repairing , or a new printer? your help would be appreciatted :D
