i recently change ibt belt and transfer roller unit and i still have a problem with transfer roller unit, the mesage won't go off.
I understand that in the service mode is the counter for transfer roll and need to be reset............i tryed UTILITY/COUNTER DETAILS stop 0 0 stop 0 1 and in service mode ask for a password and i don't know the password (00000000,12345678,92729272 is not working)

Thank youAsk the tech who changed the password what it is! It must have been changed if the ones you tried do not work.

It's in the manual.

I'm afraid I'll be watching this thread with interest.

92729272 should be the default password if it's enabled.

If the password is lost or forgotten, it's a tech support call.

certain machines have built in bugs that allow you to go into service mode bypassing the ce password prompt - at which point you can go into security mode and disable the CE password.

IE, on a c352 once i got straight in to service mode via trouble reset after a fuser error code with the front door open. It may of been a freak occurance or it may be a secret back door sequence of events ;) none the less it allowed me to disable the unknown password prompt. This is not the only machine ive worked on that bypassed the CE prompt involving a bizarre combination of events. I suspect theyre probably bugs ;)

When all else fails one can do an nvram initialize but youll loose everything and the machine will need to be setup again from scratch.

CE password , is registered in nvram board so you can try Nvram reset procedure maybe it works
