I know they are very old but I have recently had a high number of lower fusing rollers separating from their aluminium core.
The rollers have failed between almost no usage through to about 100k
I have not had any significant issues before with aftermarket lower rollers.
These have been aftermarket rollers but from 2 separate manufactures.
Any Ideas or?
Has anybody else seen this?

I used to see that all the time. Just change them and move on, nothing you can really do about it.

Likely the lower bearings are binding putting too much stress on the silicone rubber. That's what always happens here. Don't get bearings frome Katun. They are junk from China having only C3 clearance and will not last long. Some of our machines made barely 10K with one set. Katun says that "you are the only one having that problem" as usual..........

The original bearings from Minolta made in Japan and with C4 clearance are very good though extremely expensive like 55.00 USD or so (EACH!)
