Hello all,

I need to know if the Bizhub 250 (BW) uses the same fuse to reset the life of the fusing unit as the Bizhub C250 (Color). Or a different method is used.

Thanks in advance......

Might be off a bit, but isn't the fuser reset in tech rep mode on the B/W's

The fuser unit of the KonicaMinolta Bizhub 250 BW does not need resetting and therefore does not have a fuse. I you want to reset the counter for whatever reason go to tech rep menu>counters>special parts counter and scroll down to fuser to reset.

I cannot see why you would like to reset the fusing unit for Bizhub 250 as long as there is no warning about the life of it in User Mode and the copier won't stop if you over-use the fusing unit.

There is no warning about live but the copier will stop when the fuser life is over.

Are you sure that on Bizhub 250 the copier will stop working if the fusing unit reaches full life? I had several of these on the field and I never see this happening.

since when does a bh250/350 fusing unit even last life - unless of course you simply ignore the score marks on the heat roller from the thermistor and claws which occur anywhere from 150k onwards depending on customer toner coverage.

I changed a lot of fusers or fusing rollers but never resetted a counter... I thought you know what you're talking about...

To most customers having a life over saying on the screen is the same as being down. Sorry for a little confusion.

This last part of your comment though, is completely un necessary.
