We are a ricoh dealer and 1 of our customers received a infotec2105. its the same machine as the ricoh2105 but the firmware versions are different. Ricoh doesnt support the infotec so I cant ask them. does anyone know how I can get firmware for that machine in case I need to upgrade it at one point? Thanks

If you're a Ricoh dealer you must have access to Ricoh firmware through their support/knowledge base?

If you're a Ricoh dealer you must have access to Ricoh firmware through their support/knowledge base?Like I said the firmware on the IBM 2105 doesnt match whats on the ricoh 2105 or whats on the tsrc site or rfg site but the machine is exactly the same.Except for the firmware numbers. Thanks

Make sure that your boards part numbers are the same and just upload the AF2105 firmware that should not be any hassel

I worked for IBM then for Ricoh when they bought us out. I worked on the level 2 support desk in Boulder Colorado. If you are asking if you can turn a Ricoh 2105 into an IBM 2105 by just changing the firmware the answer is definitely no... It can not be done. I was asked that question by a tech. in the field and discussed it with the product engineers in Boulder... nope, nada can't be done.
