C 550 Not Recognising Fs 517

Hi All
We Have Recently Set Up A C550 With A Fs 517 Finisher , The Set Up And Firmware Was Done 100% To The Book , Problem Is The Machine Does Not See The Finisher . Maybe We Overlooked Something Or This Could Be A Factory Fault , So Please If Any Help Or Advice Can Be Provided I Will Appreciate It Very Much As Our Client Is Desperate For Their Machine.

Firmware is 6b? Does it recognize a FS-608?

Yes 6b Is The Firmware That We Loaded And Unfortunately We Do Not Have Any Other Finishers To Check With On This Machine ,it Is Our First Order For This Machine.

fs-608 is a c450 finisher (booklet maker) so if you have one in your showroom...

Nope , We Only Have The Smaller Colour Machines E.g. C252 ,c300 ...

Have you double checked to verify all four(4) connectors to the main unit are seated properly? Sometimes the connectors get loose when positioning the finisher for mounting.

Thanks A Lot For Your Responce We Did Find The Problem Yesterday It Was The Board Inside The Horisontal Transport Unit That Was Faulty.
