Panasonic FP7742 w/FA-A888 doc feeder

The document feeder on this one Z-folds between the registration roller and the white belt.

I've cleaned the sensors & rollers. The rollers have tread (& pickup fine). I just found out how to recalibrate the sensors, that's next.

Mostly I suspect the white belt. It's not so white, and a little saggy. Any ideas?

The belt is most likely slipping and causing the z-fold, also check the double feed roller located in the door it has a one way bearing that goes bad and causes all kind of feed issues on this machine,good luck

There was a heavy buildup on the aluminum rollers also. You know, this document feeder looks remarkably like the Sharp SF-A56, or the RADF on the Cougars
