Today I spent a %&^$@# of time trying to repair the "two tray" finisher on this model. It has an intermitent problem (which create grey hairs) . jams only on 8.5x11 not on other sizes and not on 8.5x11R. It folds the paper an envelope tri-fold every 10- 100 copies....which then stay behind the exit roller and the last roller above the stapler module and acumilate until 5 to 6 pages create the jam on the page entering that particular area. NO code until the jam accures "before" the area with the problem. the orange exit rollers look almost new (cleaned them anyway) cleaned the black (post orange) rollers. any sugestions??? I suspect a clutch or some ghost roller?

I hate those finishers... That body carried over to newer machines too. LoL. No code? Remove the FNS, and print a management list. :)

look for a hooked/bent/damaged internal mylar at the exit.

OK let me check those two items. I did look for the (invisble) mylar issue but could detect any that were out of place , and there were no dents on lead edge. ill check the managment list and get back to you. thanx arnie

don't forget about that assisting exit paddle. They are notorious for falling off and causing jamming.
