Hi there!
Great problem with (light!!!) solution. A new (1 week) C220 in the showroom, switched on in the morning hourglas turning and turning....
Rewriting firmware- ADF ok, Scanner ok, Printer ok, MFP-controller ng!?! A little chat with the hotline: clean the contacts of the memorychip, or change it, the worst case: change MFP-board.
Done all these things with the same result. At least i take a new USB-stick (1Gb as the former) and suddenly the b.... is running. Tested it at another machine all the same. We´ve checked the sticks both, there were no bad sectors or anything else.
Therefore in the future: 4 x SD-card & 2-3 USB-sticks in the toolbox, ´cause i hate such "surprises"
