Reset yellow IU and code cleared. Then noticed P-8 and p-21 codes. Reset all toners and Iu's, but didn't clear. Some poor copy quality, mostly in yellow. Should the yellow IU solve all this? What about p-21 code?
Thanks.

Hi there!
If there are p-8/-21 warningcodes there is normaly a colourregistration-problem. All our bizhubs with this kind of warning needed a new image-transferbelt-assy, then the problem was solved.

Thanks. I inherited several of these machines, I'm not a big fan of KMBS color! I forget about those sensors, but I do know where they are. Is it always a good idea to blow out those sensors when p-codes appear?
thanks.

The KonMin C250/252 is a dog for sure however, I have worked on most other KonMin business colour machines and I can tell you they are one of the best if not the best business colour line of copiers.
To answers your question, it is never a bad idea to clean the IDC sensors.

Only if P-21 shown on screen without other malfunctions,
when u have other P shown, its logical that transfer will not read all walue correctly ;)

Something like this came up in C360 class. During a previous class session the solenoid operated sensor cover was not installed correctly. There is a white plastic lever that must fit into a cutout in the cover (at least on the C360). Maybe this can help you. =^..^=
