Hello all,

I am currently working on a Konica Minolta Di2510 and the system is constantly restarting it's self. Sometimes it takes 15 seconds, and other times it take a couple of minutes. Everything is fully functional while the machine is up. Then randomly the screen will say "Please Wait..." and restarts. Does anyone know what may be causing this issue, or where I should even start to troubleshoot? Our dealership mainly sells Panasonic so I have very little experience with the Konica Minolta's at this point in time. Thanks a ton in advance if anyone can help me out!

Did you happen to write down the abort code? It will look like "0x0000....." but I have seen a couple of these abort when tray 1 runs out of paper.

I think you'll find this is the mfb board which means bin job.

time to upsell.

Does it reset and come back up with the start button blinking? That is usually an abort code. If start button is lit steady it sounds like a power issue. Check the socket where the cord plugs into the back of machine. it may be loose or cracked.

When it resets the start light is indeed blinking, but I didn't see a code pop up anywhere. Where would I find the abort code?

When the machine resets, on the screen, it will show "Abort 0x000..." it goes away pretty quick so you may have to let it cycle a couple of times so you can write it down.

I am not sure that it has a code that comes up. When it resets, the only thing on the screen is the "Please Wait..." text like when you hit the reset button on the side of the panel. When I was working on it yesterday I was looking for anything that remotely resembled a code.

Did you check the toner bottle?

Is the machine plugged in to a network? If it is, unplug the network cable and see if it resets.

how about the card that goes into the side of the machine? I know from school that if you tried to start the machine with it out. it would say wont boot. I would certainly try that. but then again. you probably don't have one since you are a panasonic dealer. it is called the memory card

I had a very similar issue once - in the end I had to completely unplug the network board and remove it from the machine - reboot until the machine warmed up successfully then power down, reconnect it all and reboot again.

No idea why it worked but it did!
