We had a customer call on a Konica Minolta bizhub C450 that that was "copying only the top half of the original" from the ADF or platen glass.
We went on-site and found that the center 6" of the original is copied and shifted to the rear side of the frame making it look like only the top half the image was copied; customer didn’t notice it was the middle of the original at the top of the copy. There is no skewing or stretching of the image on the copies in any direction.
I re-seated all of the image units, checks that all paper guides are set/intact, no strange noise were being made, no codes are being produced, the last jam was over two weeks ago. The problem is intermittent; I made a bunch of copies and was not able to reproduce it but the customer indicated that it will do it and then not do it right in the middle of a copy job (never does it when printing).
