Hey guys, I was given a Savin MLP28N. It constantly reports "Jam in registration error" after it attempts to print. Startup and POST go fine - then I try to print a test page and BOOM - there goes the error.
I've completely take this thing apart. Sensor flags in regi look good, sensors seem to work ok, but can't really test. Fuser has clean thermistors and is not flat, feed tires and clutches from all three trays look normal and do pull paper. I've really gone over everything pretty good.
Next step, might be looking at the formatter - and i'm not going to replace that.
Anybody have any TSBs or specific info for this model?
