Does anyone know where I can find the Panel Customization Tool for the C754? I have looked all over MyKonicaMinolta.com

have setup 6 of the 654's ,they seem to be pretty solid units , though not tough enough to replace the 601 and the 751 lines as intended.

Ahh, thats not hard.

I'm sure if the customers using low quality dusty paper the machine wont be dumping developer every 100k nor will it require labor intensive PM calls every 250k.

that old konica engine is a dinosaur and belongs in the past, back when labor was cheap and technicians had nothing to do all day

Wish I could make the Vegas show but my birthday is on the 9th and I'm putting together the party for it. I'll be 40. Swing by and have a beer if you are local. Free firmware to the first 10 people. :)

Never been one one of his courses, Im sure they are all the same though. I find Konica Minolta courses better than Ricoh much friendlier at lest.

Keep filling up with Tea & Coffee. :o

I've got the panel customize tool from the c224-c554 class. I would assume they are the same. Send me a pm with an email addy and I'll send it that way. I'm sure it would either recognize the file or not recognize it.

I don't know about public, but if you have access to mykonicaminolta.com it is now available under the C754 utilities. If you can't access it let me know and I could send it to you. It is a very small file, only 137k.

When you write, those machines run on Linux, do you mean the OS on the copier itself?

yes "runs on linux" what does that mean and why should i care? does anybody plan on customizing their copier or some other open source nerdiness?

Well, if they do run on linux and one is able to gain root access there might be a chance to obtain valueable debug information. There are people who have succeeded in doing this on recent DesignJet printers and it's really far away from being some kind of "nerdiness"...
