Hello,
I set up scanning on a BH600 about 2 weeks ago, set up FTP and scan to email. The customer called me today and said it scans, but only a few pages at a time, when they run 10 to 15 pages the message on the screen says check job log! I dont see any jobs in log. thanks

Set scanning default to black white.

thanks for the reply, the 600 is only a black and white machine. I checked the scan settings and there is no setting for color or black and white. Thanks

First thing is first and try upgrading the firmware.

Next, I would then look at the HDD to make sure that it is ok and then look at the RAM.

thanks Owl, not HDD but will check the RAM. any other suggestions would be helpful.

Definately look at the firmware first.

I believe that this will only scan 1-8 pages without the hard drive option. With the hdd option it scans up 2000 pages at a time.

Yeah, like Mr. Spock said, if it doesn't have a HDD installed it won't scan more than 10 pages (if the quality is set really low). Install a HDD and presto, your customer will be able to scan 'til their heart's content.

Although we had to fit them to the machines our selves, but I thought the HDD came standard in those devices?

Must have been another Australian thing.

Do what the guys above here suggested.

the problem was with their dns server the IT guy said. no problem sending smb only to email.

The first occasion when I erase the CASCRepair.mrk and restarted, it let me in. Presently when I do it simply needs to filter. On the off chance that I erase all the .idx documents (https://scannmore.com/services/onsite-document-scanning/) it still just outputs. It generally gets to 80% and begins once again.

no hdd? think that just may be your problem, this unit has very little ram built in .
