how is the lead edge registration on the prints ?
if there is ANY shift at all replace the registration clutch. -
Re: Minolta Di 3510 duplex jamming
that's the one.
failing registration clutch usually presents itself as "duplex jamming" on this model and all versions that followed its design. The customer almost never see's the fact that the image is shifting wildly all over the page.
sounds like yours may be a different fault though. Be sure to let us know what it was when you fix it.
the only other duplex relaited issue ive had on these engines is the actuator on the turn over section popping out of position or missing its spring. I actually keep these in the car they fall out so often, (same all the way up to BH-501)Comment

Re: Minolta Di 3510 duplex jamming
You can have a clutch failure in the duplex itself. Put the paper in the tray in landscape direction and see if it runs better. Running paper longways slows the machine down and week clutches will run better. Common problem on Bz420/500.The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Re: Minolta Di 3510 duplex jamming
Ive personally never had failed clutches in the adu's of 2510/3510/b250/b350, will be interesting if thats the cause, let us know what happensComment

Re: Minolta Di 3510 duplex jamming
The duplex clutches are the same as the drawer clutch. watch thru the vents of duplex to see the paper passing thru. It should stop at the same place every time and pause. If not its the clutches. There are 2 of them, change them both.Comment
