The customer mentioned that the last tech could not recall the admin code thats why I wanted to know how to reset thinking that i was probably some unsual number. Thanks

Normally it is 00000000 (8 zeros).
I only want say that if you reset drum counter now that the new drum has worked, probably you'll run in a C2557 code...
Better for you to set the bit 3 from 1 to 0 in 418 soft switch settings avoiding in this way the reminder to change the drum..

to Acusso1234; If I was to make changes to the bit setting will I still get the error code C2557? Cause I changed drum, developer and reset counters and after a few hrs the C2557 error came back. One thing that I encountered was the F8 did not seem to work. I had expected the copier to do something besides just beep when I pressed the start button when F8 is on the display.

when you went into F8...was the start button "blue" when you pressed it, if not you haven't done the set up....some of these are a nightmare...for example..i've had some that wont let me run F8 if the RADF is up...

if the start button isn't blue...you cant run the F8...keep the side door open until you are ready to carry out the TCR, only close it when you are ready to press the start button in F8...have you reset the C2557 error..
