Ricoh MPC 3500 SC819

I have a MPC 4500 the gives a SC819 code only when the hard drives are connected. I've replaced the hard drives with a new set from Ricoh and still get the code. I've tried a controller with from a different machine and still the same.

I had a similar problem on a Afc 3260 it turned out to be Power Supply Unit a missing voltage was the actual reason

check the memory. ive just had this same code and it was the memory on the controller. it needs to be samsung memory, not hymex or canram

Ricoh MPC 3500 SC819

It turned out that my first set of hard drives were shorted and would take out any controller that I tried to connect it to. Thanks for the suggestions.
