Hy

I have a new konica C745 and I wanna know what do I have to setup for VoIP. This is the same setting for all Fax boards.
VoIP is still not supported offically by Konica Minolta, but may work in some instances.
Performing these suggested settings may solve the problem. Follow the step-by-step procedures:
From Service Mode:

FAX Settings => Communication => Protocol set "ON" for the "V.29 EP Tone" Protocol and set "OFF" for all other faster protocols.
FAX Settings => Communication => Others we have set "OFF" for the "ECM Function"
FAX Settings => Function Parameter => Address "000e0012 = 01111000 (decimal 78 = 120 sec) for T1 Timer for Calling
FAX Settings => Function Parameter => Address "000e0013 = 01111000 (decimal 78 = 120 sec) for T1 Timer for Called
System 2 => Software Switch => SoftSwitch 21 Bit 5 =1 (HEX 20 = over 4.5 sec) for T4 Waiting time between start Identification

Thanks

Whats the question?

Youve answered your own question.

I've seen decent ip phone systems with analog telephone adapters on the machine work flawlessly with no settings changed on the machine at all.

If youve a low budget crap low bandwidth voip setup dont be expecting miracles. Save yourself the wasted time and install a real analog phone line.

It's all I have found on konica support. Nothing more. I have never done VoIP before so I just wanna ask a tech who done it.

Thanks

I have to totally be agree with PerthKMTech. The only biz that i've seen in the past not faxing over voip was a bh 210.
I remember that all the settings in the bullettin you posted was done with no success and at the end the solution was to change model.
The provider of the voip line is your only chance. Ask them to make some different settings. And...was that line previusly in use with a fax?

Just about the same for all devices. Look at my reply in this thread.
