Problem: lines of garbage (dots and noise) around raster images (or raster effects) in not raster (vector, MS office, etc) documents.
Looks like error in RIP.

Print out internal test pages and demo page. It really looks like something in the layers of the pictures.

Try selecting the "Print as Image" check box in the driver diaog box..Could also be a font issue if you're getting your graphics from the web...play around with the quality settings..ie try web instead of document..Emujo

Try using the Postscript driver and see if the problem is still there. There is also a feature in the PS driver that you can try turning off as well to see if it helps which is called Postscript Passthrough.

I have seen something similar in the past where my customer was adding a JPEG to a Word document, but the JPEG had a transparent background which Word didn't like too much. While it looked good on the screen, it printed out like rubbish. The same can also be replicated if you click and drag pictures into MS Office documents.

If you are printing from an Adobe product, again try the PS print driver and also what Emujo said with the 'Print as Image'.

There are no problems with PS driver and test images, no garbage, no noise.
But I dont wat to use PS, because it is darker than PCL.
