That's about Konica Minolta Bizhub C450 with Fiery X3e TY(IC-402)
In fact when I separated the Fiery Hard Disk and attached to my pc in order to make backup with Acronis True image Bootable Cd ,after making backup and replacing the HD in the fiery and turn them on, seems it couldn’t be recognized and the message "turn the controller on" appears on the touch screen.
I tried to restart the copier/printer machine but the same message .I wonder is it related to Hard Disk or something else. finally I had to change the controller to the o condition and detach the fiery.
I wonder how to make an image backup of the Copier and the Fiery hard disk and NVRam.
How can I set the Fiery to fix that problem and connect it with bizhub C450.

So if the Experts could help and give a solution ,would be appreciated.

There could have been a chance that the Fiery HDD was already corrupted somewhere along the line and you have cloned the corruption.

Re-install the Fiery OS from scratch using the Fiery System disks. Once it is up and running, then make a backup for future use.

There is no point in blowing away the copier HDD and the NVRAM and more to the point, blowing away the NVRAM is counter productive and may introduce more problems than what it is worth.

I agree that the best course of action is to reflash the Fiery's system software - I'd leave the NVRAM hypothesis to last because, as TheOwl correctly pointed out, that would most likely open a can of worms in addition to the problem you're already facing.

I believe that one will be hard to come by unless you call a tech or you're willing to pay for it.

The Fiery X3e TY was fitted to many different makes of copiers through out its service life, but the software was specialised to each manufacturer.

If you ask around, someone should be nice enough to gice you a copy of the software for the Fiery to match the C450. If you can't find anyone, then getting a tech would be the next option and would probably take alot less time as they will know what they are doing straight of the bat.
